New supper club in East London

Chef Gabriel Waterhouse, of The Waterhouse Project, formerly of 1 Michelin stared Galvin La Chapelle and three times Michelin stared chef Herber Berger at Innholders Hall, is set to become our resident chef at our East London showroom.
At Bert & May we are real foodies and we have been looking to team up with an exciting chef who shares our passion for great food and when Gabriel approached us as he was looking to branch out of hosting supper clubs from home we agreed our showroom would be the perfect venue.
We were lucky enough to host our own intimate supper club with Gabriel this week which was a really special evening. We invited some friends of the company to our East London showroom, which sits next to Regents Canal in urban cool Bethnal Green, and delightedly tucked in to a 7 course menu with wine pairing by the excellent sommelier Ronato.
Gabriel and his team were so lovely and created a very relaxed atmosphere. Gabriel and Ronato introduced each course and the wine and the food was beyond delicious. The menu included lime cured salmon with a gin, tonic and lime sorbet, a pheasant pastilla with fig chutney and aubergine puree and a chocolate fondant with the most amazing banana a yoghurt ice cream.
