Terrazzo Tiles

How durable are terrazzo tiles?
Terrazzo tiles are super durable thanks to the mix of materials used to create them. They are very easy to maintain and keep clean and are a perfect choice for floors in a busy home or commercial project where you’re expecting heavy footfall.
What are terrazzo tiles made of?
Our terrazzo collection is handmade in Turkey using a mixture of ground minerals such as marble, granite, and quartz.
The tiles are hand cast which is a great way of achieving a bespoke terrazzo design. The process requires careful attention to ensure consistency of mix and colouration. The mixture is laid, rolled, trowelled, and left to harden for three or more days before being cut to the required thickness then ground and polished.
Thanks to the making process, no two pieces of terrazzo are ever completely identical, meaning each and every tile is a real one off.
Terrazzo tiles look stunning on kitchen islands, on bathroom floors, and even in hallways. What we love about these tiles is their versatility.
Our Coarse terrazzo is a great choice for hallways as its large chips of green, gold and black makes a real statement the minute you see it, while our subtle Ebony terrazzo, with its smaller specks of black amongst white, suits bathroom spaces perfectly.

Feeling concerned about installation? Don’t worry! We have a step-by-step guide on installing terrazzo tiles and recommendations for adhesive and grout too.
Can I order samples before buying?
Yes! Samples are available to order, and we recommend doing so as although we have a catalogue of imagery showcasing these special tiles, it’s important to see them in the setting of your interior to see if they will work in the space. You’ll get a whole tile as a sample too so you can get a real idea of how they’ll look.
