A big thank you from all of us for your support and business this year. 2022 has been a very busy year for us all at Bert & May, seeing us grow our product ranges into porcelain, terrazzo and marble and open our third UK store in Bristol!
We're excited to see what 2023 brings. Let's talk about what we think will be trending this year…
Thank you to all our clients for sharing your inspirational projects. Below are a few of my favourite posts of the year... Follow us @bertandmay for more.

My tip of the year is “textured colours". I believe customers will move away from flat colours and use more textured finishes such as limewash paints. Below are some more predictions from our Creative Director Ruth Webber.
2023 interior trend predictions from Ruth Webber:
Taking tiles into the bedroom.
Over the years we have seen many more tiled headboards and tiled plinths for baths in bedrooms. Tiling a full bedroom floor, often thought only for warmer climates can definitely work here too. Cement tiles have a tactile finish, velvet smooth underfoot and work with underfloor heating. Layered up with a rug and even create a tile rug effect with combining plain tiles and delicate patterns.

An earthier palette.
Over the last year we have explored the softer and more earthy side of our palette. In 2022 we launched Sweet Yellow into our patterns, bringing the earthier and more neutral tones to the forefront of our collections. And I believe this look of golden tones will continue.

For 2023, the nature inspired palette will continue.
Iris has sat in our palette for a little while, a soft heathery tone, works well paired with earthy tones or rich when paired with deep reds and pinks. This year we will bring Iris into our pattern collections.
Led and inspired by our own reclaimed tile archives and art and design history. This decorative look and the patina finish is our heritage and our passion. A softer take on the maximalist look.
We look forward to creating more timeless interiors together in 2023!
