Our Midi Stripe Tile is our medium width stripe design

Available in 3 different stripe widths; skinny, midi and wide, these designs can be used on their own for a timeless stripe or you can mix and match to create a contemporary formation. Stripes are a powerful tool in interior architecture, helping draw in the eye where spaces have little original feature, reshaping a space. We paired Liquor -a subtle, earthy light green - with Cricket, a warm neutral that complements any colour in our palette, to create a fresh and understated look.

We are immensely proud to have grown Bert & May alongside the same family of tile makers in Córdoba, Spain. Felix and his family are fourth-generation artisans, and together we have spent years perfecting what we believe to be some of the finest encaustic tiles in the world.

Every tile is still made by hand by a skilled team of artisans. There are no machine-perfect edges or clinical finishes here. Each tile carries the subtle imprint of the person who made it - a gentle variation in colour, texture and shape that makes every installation feel completely unique.

And yes, encaustic tiles ask a little more of you. They are beautifully substantial to lay and need a simple seal to protect them. But we think that is a small price to pay for something made with such care.
