Kitchen Tiles

Yes! Once they have been installed following our guidelines, tiles are an incredibly practical choice for use throughout the kitchen as they’re hardwearing, water resistant and easy to maintain with a ph neutral cleaner.
Thanks to their hardy nature, our cement, terrazzo, marble, and terracotta collections are all suitable for use as kitchen floor tiles and kitchen wall tiles – they are made to last and will withstand plenty of wear and tear. Our glazed tiles aren’t suitable for floors, but are perfect for walls and splashbacks and look stunning in spaces where there is lots of light.
Neutral floor and wall tiles are a very popular choice for kitchens – our plain Brighton Stone and Portland Stone herringbones are great for those who want white or grey kitchen tiles with a soft edge.
Pattern-wise, our Hexagon Split tiles are a lovely choice if you’re looking for patterned kitchen tiles that are still subtle – they feature just a hint of colour and can be arranged in different tessellations to suit your space. Bold patterns such as our Split Shift tiles work well in contemporary spaces, while classic designs like our Manarola and Octagon tiles will suit almost any kitchen.

For those seeking something plain but with a touch of fun, our hexagonal tiles are a great choice and make a stylish statement on kitchen islands or on floors, as do our plain square tiles.
Speaking of floors, Terracotta is a lovely choice for kitchen floors and really brings the feel of the outdoors inside in – it’s incredibly versatile and looks great in a range of homes, from classic cottages to modern apartments. We have two types of terracotta tiles at Bert & May – handmade terracotta tiles, and reclaimed terracotta tiles, both of which are suitable for kitchens.
