We recommend adding 10% extra on to your order to account for wastage. The exception to this rule is zellige, where we would recommend adding 15%. This additional % is called overage and you can adjust this % when using the tile calculator on this page.

Margarita. A clean, white honed marble - understated in the best possible way.
Honed rather than polished, the finish is soft and matte - a world away from the cold, reflective white marble you see everywhere. The veining is fine, grey-white running diagonally across a cool white ground, and while it’s far more restrained than some of our other marble. Being a natural product means no two tiles are the identical.
Marble is one of our signature materials…
…but with so many options available, we believe choosing the right stone is all about restraint, character and a really good eye.
We have carefully curated a collection of Italian marbles that sit beautifully within the Bert & May palette. We choose to source from small quarries, where the stone has a depth, patina and natural variation that simply can’t be replicated.
As with any natural material, every slab is unique, with its own veining, movement and subtle variations. We embrace these imperfections as part of what makes marble so special. Each piece is carefully hand-selected by us, ensuring that every stone has the character, beauty and individuality we look for.
