Outdoor Tiles
Our outdoor tiles are designed with the elements in mind. Handcrafted in exclusive colour palettes from natural greens and blues to versatile neutrals, our encaustic outdoor tiles are perfect for patios, exterior walls, paths and more. Book a design consultation, order samples, and explore the collection below.

Which tiles are best for outdoor spaces?
Tiles are a beautiful choice for outdoor areas like patios, terraces, and bars, as well as giving character to pathways and walls. The most important thing to consider is using the right material for outside to ensure that your designs hold up against the elements. The majority of our encaustic tiles are suitable for a range of uses including bathrooms and outside, as with proper sealant, they are water-resistant and highly durable. The only tiles that cannot be used on floors are the glazed tiles, as they're too slippery to walk on safely.
Mediterranean exteriors with terracotta
Give your outdoor spaces the rustic treatment with traditional, handmade terracotta tiles made in a specialised workshop in Spain. Used for centuries, the signature warm colouring brings a touch of the southern climes to your home. From deep red and orange, rusty brown, and even chalky white, terracotta is naturally pigmented so contains a rich array of shades that come together to create an organic, inviting finish that beautifully compliments natural surroundings.

Other popular outdoor tiles
One of our most popular outdoor floor tiles is the Formentera, a cement tile that lends its contemporary-yet-classic looks to outside spaces to stunning effect. This tile, along with some of our other patterned designs such as our Pals and Basco tiles, are the perfect way to create a real focal point in your garden, and will brighten it up on even the dullest of days.
Our Portuguese glazed tiles are another great bet for use outside (as long as they’re not used on floor areas) - they are easy to maintain, weatherproof, and glisten in the sun. Their glossy finish and rich depth of colour will create a very special look in any outside space but is particularly successful on the walls in patio or terrace areas where they will contrast with matt paved or terracotta floor tiles beautifully.
