Chocolate feels solid and grounding.

It’s rich and dark, but not heavy - the lighter stone running through it lifts the surface and keeps it from feeling too dense. We like how it brings warmth into a room and makes everything around it feel a bit more settled. It’s a good choice if you want something with presence that doesn’t rely on pattern or colour to do the work.

Please note: the minimum order for our terrazzo is 5 sqm.

Our terrazzo is made in a small workshop in Marrakesh…

…where every slab is crafted by hand by skilled makers. It’s a wonderfully tactile process, combining carefully selected local Moroccan stones with our signature, ice-cream-inspired palette to create something that feels both timeless and unmistakably Bert & May.

We’re passionate about where our materials come from, which is why all of the stone used in our terrazzo is sourced locally in Morocco rather than being shipped in from around the world. For us, responsible sourcing is as important as the finished product.

We’re incredibly proud to work with this small workshop and to support a team with excellent working conditions, while keeping the craft of traditional terrazzo making alive.
