Designed in collaboration with our friends at House Nine Design, these characterful zellige mosaics are cut, glazed, and finished by hand in Morocco.

This design takes the traditional square and gives it a twist: a bold clover motif sitting at each corner, creating a striking rhythm when laid across a wall or floor. Every piece shows the character of zellige that we love - slight shifts in tone, surface ripples, and natural quirks that catch the light beautifully. The clover detail adds a unique edge to a traditional look in beautifully rich ochre. These tiles are laid on a mesh making the installation process simpler.

The beauty is in the imperfection.

Our zellige tiles are made in Fez, Morocco, in a small workshop of just 12 makers. This is a traditional craft that demands time, patience and an extraordinary level of skill - and there is simply no shortcut to making them properly.

Each tile begins life as a handmade biscuit, which is then cut by hand and carefully chiselled around the edges. It is this process that creates the wonderfully irregular shape and softly rough edges that give zellige its unmistakable character.

We have worked closely with our maker, José, to develop a small, beautifully considered palette of colours. Each batch has its own subtle variations in tone and finish, so we always recommend keeping tiles from the same batch together rather than mixing batches.

This is artisanal craft in its purest form - slow, imperfect and completely beautiful.
