How many tiles will I need?
We recommend adding 10% extra on to your order to account for wastage. The exception to this rule is zellige, where we would recommend adding 15%. This additional % is called overage and you can adjust this % when using the tile calculator on this page.
If you have any questions about calculating overage, please contact design@bertandmay.com - being tile geeks, tiles + maths is a sweet spot for us!

Inspired by natural stone and crafted from porcelain in a larger 120cm x 60cm tile, Limestone Remastered captures the detail and character of the real thing.
Chosen with the Bert & May eye for colour, texture and proportion, these sit comfortably between traditional and modern interiors at home or in commercial settings. Practical as well as beautiful, porcelain offers exceptional durability and is simple to install and effortless to maintain. The result is an aesthetic that works for everyday living — resilient, tactile and considered, with all the loveliness of the original material.

The practicality of porcelain. The soul of Bert & May.
Our porcelain tiles are made in a small workshop just outside Valencia, Spain, where a team of around 20 people is led by Raúl, one of the very best in the business.
Porcelain is, by nature, incredibly hard-wearing and versatile. But for us, performance alone is never enough. Function has to sit alongside great design, thoughtful making and a commitment to doing things better.
We have also worked closely with our makers in Spain to create a wonderfully soft matt finish. It gives our porcelain a warmth and depth more commonly associated with handmade tiles, taking away the coldness that can sometimes come with a highly technical product.
Our workshop currently uses more than 50% recycled and waste material in the production of our porcelain, and we are committed to working with the team in Valencia to increase this further.
