Collection: Real Zellige

To make this kind of tile, unrefined clay is kneaded with water until it reaches the right consistency, then blended with pigments to achieve the desired colour. After that, they are moulded by hand and dried naturally in the sun before being fired, glazed, and then fired again. Because of this process, each zellige tile is completely unique in tone and texture - a classic example of Moroccan artistry.
